Important Facts:
·        Rolled, waxy leaves hold water better than large, flat leaves.
·        Hibernation and migration are adaptations.
·        When most of the animals in an environment hibernate, it means that the winters are much colder than the summers.
·        The heartbeat of an animal that is hibernating will be very low.
·        Most of the adaptations in the desert are about getting enough water.
·        Many animals use the adaptation of camouflage to blend in with their environment.
