November 9th, 2012

Another week in the books!  We finished our "How to Blow a Bubble" writing and displayed them in the hall.  They did a self portrait and used a pink balloon to represent the bubble.  We even had a Fourth grade teacher read some and comment on how great they were!!  In math we continued with the concept of division and algebra.  In Social Studies we started Fredrick Douglass and read about his life.  I love when I read to the students the questions and connections they make, we can usually have a discussion over one vocabulary word.  In Science we continued with soil and I know they were disappointed when we moved the test.  I am looking at having the test on Tuesday.  I am looking forward to our last week before a nice break!
