Market Day Rules
1.
Students
will develop and make their own product or service with minimal adult help.
2.
Volunteers
need to be here from 8:30-11:00 on Friday, March 22nd to help students set up
their product in their classrooms. They
will also be helping with clean up after Market Day (beginning at 10:30). *Please remember that volunteers are here to
help all students have a successful experience.
3.
Market
Day will be open from 9:00-10:30.
4.
Baked
goods must be individually-packaged.
(Please make a note on the package or on a sign at the station listing
the ingredients, so we avoid problems with food allergies!)
5. Food products are not
allowed to be eaten during
Market Day. Students will be allowed to eat
some of their purchases for snack in their
class
room after Market Day is over.
6.
Other grade levels may be invited to
participate as “consumers” depending upon their Economic Standards.
7.
Students
will only have their desks for their business, so be aware of the limited space
available for display and/or services.
