Reading – We are focusing on identifying Author’s Purpose of various genres of literature.

Spelling – Focus on suffixes: accidently, hazardous, fascination, humorous, definitely, separately, ridiculous, disastrous, elevation, anticipation

Writing – We are composing a speech in the style of Douglass or Anthony and constructing a basic report on weathering and erosion.

Math – D, B, F, S: We are studying polygons and other geometric figures.

K: We are concluding our geometry and measurement unit.  Students will create a map using geometric figures.

Important Dates –

• KCSMA Food and Toy Drive begins Nov. 26^th –Dec. 14^th  Bring in 5 cans, 1 unwrapped new toy, OR a Gift Card each week to receive a N.U.T. PASS for the following Friday.
• Students are working toward and Pajama N.U.T. PASS for the last day before Winter Break (December 20).  Students must turn in ALL homework on time for the next two weeks to earn the Pajama Pass.
• Family Dine Out Night at O’Charley’s on Dec. 4^th-3285 Cobb Parkway, Acworth, GA
