Hello November!

Hello KCSMA family!
Another week in the books for Borg's Brainiacs!  We worked on soil, Paul Revere, Division, and non fiction writing this week.  We also got to have a preview of the Book Fair.  I appreciate those that have bought books on my wishlist for our classroom!  I must admit, I will pick up a children's literature book before an adult one any day!  Don't forget we do not have school on Tuesday, don't forget to go VOTE.  If you feel up to it, take your student with you to vote, it will give them something concrete to remember and associate with our voting process.  Look for the Peek at the Week tomorrow!
Thanks,
Mrs. Borg

Conference Week

Sorry for the late post, I had some internet issues at my house.  Last week was wonderful!  It was so great to meet with all the family and loved ones of my students.  I appreciate all you do for your students and I know that they appreciate it also.  We continued talking about Paul Revere, Soil, and Nonfiction texts last week.  We also had our "Election Day Brainstorm" activity!  It was so much fun to decide between Duck or Grace for President and walk the students through the election process!  I love teaching!!

Don't forget the Dance is coming up and hopefully with the start of the new month you have sent in your child's menu!  We will be going to the book fair Friday afternoon, so send your child with money if you want them to purchase any books.

Thanks,
Mrs. B

Peek Correction!!

I mistyped on the peek at the week!  The correct pages for math workbook pages should be 66,67,68,69 for Ms. Knothe, Borg, and Sims.  Sorry for the confusion and I will let the other teachers know I posted the wrong pages!
Thanks,
Mrs. Borg
